Visitor options

The museum provides both primary and secondary school pupils with the opportunity to discover the Jacquemart-André Museum with the aid of an audioguide and an educational pack. This pack, which consists of worksheets aimed at both teachers and pupils, is distributed to teachers free of charge. This teaching and learning aid, which is fully illustrated, offers an exciting and rewarding visit and provides an ideal complement to History or French lessons.

For pupils from Years 6-10

The educational pack aimed at pupils from Years 6-10 takes them on a journey through the museum, focussing on the following three areas:

• The historical context of the Second Empire,
• Bourgeois life,
• The great collectors of the nineteenth century.

For secondary school pupils

• The historical context and architecture of the Second Empire,
• The life of Parisian high society during this era,
• The great collectors of the nineteenth century.

For sixth-form students

The educational pack aimed at sixth-form students allows them to discover the museum, focussing on the following three areas:
