The Private Apartments

Occupying part of the mansion’s ground floor, the André’s private apartments give the museum the feel of a family home.

The first room of the recently-restored private apartments is Nélie’s bedroom, decorated in typical Louis XV style.

Edouard's Antechamber

Edouard’s Antechamber is dedicated to his memory, housing a series of family portraits, including one executed by his wife a decade before they married.

Edouard’s Bedroom and adjacent bathroom have retained their original decoration and are steeped in the memory of this great art collector.
