Festival Lyrique de Paris

This evening celebrates the emblematic female figures of opera, on the “women of character” side! From the irresistible Carmen to the mischievous Suzanna in The Marriage of Figaro, not forgetting Gershwin‘s seductresses, women like composer Augusta Holmès sometimes play the leading role.
