Paris Lyric Festival

Following last year’s success, Opera a Palazzo and the Jacquemart-André Museum have once again joined forces to present the second edition of the Paris Lyric Festival: Opera Nights at the Jacquemart-André Museum, featuring four exclusive evenings in a majestic setting.

A unique festival at the heart of Parisian heritage 

Located in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, the Jacquemart-André Museum provides a prestigious setting for this new edition of the Paris Lyric Festival. This former private mansion, recently restored, reveals the full splendor of its refined décor and exceptional collection. Each evening becomes a privileged encounter between music, history, and the history of art.

Prestigious program and immersive experience

Musical accompaniment will be provided by a pianist and vocal coach. Each program will feature an original staging.
Each evening offers approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of performance, including a 30-minute intermission during which guests can enjoy a glass of champagne while exploring the museum’s magnificent permanent collection.

Thursday, July 2 - A Lyric Journey through Italy: from Così fan tutte to L’Elisir d’amore

A journey through lyrical, theatrical, and imagined Italy.
From Così fan tutte to Il barbiere di Siviglia, from Norma to L’Elisir d’amore, with a stop at Don Carlos, this program brings into dialogue the spirit of theatre, the impulses of the heart, and vocal virtuosity through some of the most beautiful pages of the Italian repertoire.

Ensembles, duets, iconic arias, and great cantabile moments follow one another in a richly contrasted journey, blending grace, passion, and dramatic intensity.

Saturday, July 4 - Italian Passions: from Lucia di Lammermoor to Turandot

Unfulfilled loves, oaths, jealousy, farewells, and heroic impulses echo through some of the most deeply moving pages of the repertoire.

From Donizetti and Bellini to Mascagni, Puccini, and Verdi, this program brings to life the voices of bel canto and lyrical drama—from Lucia di Lammermoor to La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, and Turandot, alongside the tragic accents of Don Carlo. An intense journey through emotion, where each aria, duet, and ensemble gives voice both to the movements of the heart and to the workings of fate.

Thursday, July 9 - Spain in Opera: Carmen and Don Giovanni

Spain emerges here as a vibrant imaginary; at once popular, sensual, theatrical, and melancholic. Centered around Carmen, Il barbiere di Siviglia, and Don Giovanni, this program explores the interplay between seduction, freedom, bravura, and desire.

Alongside Bizet, Rossini, and Mozart, Manuel de Falla’s Canciones populares españolas and Agustín Lara’s Granada extend this musical journey, blending Andalusian sunlight, vocal elegance, and dramatic brilliance.

Saturday, July 11 - Viennese Night: from Mozart to Strauss

The festival concludes with an evening dedicated to refinement and the Viennese spirit.
From Don Giovanni to Le nozze di Figaro, from Così fan tutte to Die Zauberflöte, the first part celebrates the full theatrical grace of Mozart. Then Schubert, Sieczyński, Lehár, and Johann Strauss open the door to a lighter, more brilliant and nostalgic Vienna, blending opera, operetta, and salon song.
A true musical portrait of the Austrian capital, where theatrical elegance meets festive brilliance.
